These hanging window gardens feature three different organic-shaped, 3D printed planter pods that rotate and can be placed in any configuration and height along a polished brass rod. The standard 36″ height fits most windows and can be connected to additional segments to span larger windows and offer greater modularity.

Danielle Trofe Design partnered with BMW to create a sculptural vertical garden installation that climbed 20 feet high and spanned two floors for the Born Electric World Tour 2012-2013. Joining other local artists and designers as a Good Goods partner of the tour which was held in Bryant Park, NYC. The installation is designed to promote urban gardening and the integration of living plants into interior spaces by using vertical hydroponic technology.

During NYCxDESIGN in 2013, Danielle Trofe’s 20-foot-tall custom vertical gardens were featured as a temporary exhibit inside ABC Home’s flagship store in Union Square, New York City. Rising through the space, the living installations transformed the retail environment into an immersive biophilic landscape, blurring the boundary between nature, design, and commerce. The gardens offered a bold, future-facing vision of how living systems can activate interiors and invite a deeper connection to the natural world.
